No Sew blankets

We picked up some kits from Ace Hardware to help create blankets to be donated to help kids.  They will be donated to CMN hospital on February 13th.

The before with a bunch of cut fleece with potential to make kids happy.  They just need a little love and can become so much more.

The truck is full taking them for the drop off soon to make kids happy because you donated a little time into something special.  Thank you for helping out with this.  

So far this is 2 pallets full of blankets and the day has just started.  As my motto in college was "If it wasn't for the last minute nothing would ever get done" I expect this to be overflowing with fleecy happiness by the end of the day.

Usually they send out a communication after they do blanket Bingo with the kids to give away the blankets.  I'll try to get that and post it so you can see the impact you guys had.

 This looks to be all of them after lunch.   The goal was for 288.  So we took a pretty good chunk out of that.

We had an instructor teaching us some basics of ice skating.  We leaned that just because you don't know how doesn't mean you shouldn't try.

Welcome to our blog

I am happy to announce that we now have a blog that will be used to update happenings for the Arlington Heights Cub Scout pack 468.  Currently we are the Tiger cubs of 1st grade.

This will be used as an example with the great kids to show them how accessible media and communication is these days. The world is spreading to digital and instant communication as well as consuming information when it is convenient to others.  This mean we not only need to have information available instantly as it happens but be persistent to be found later.
