Of course the Sunday morning campers got a nice warm surprise of Sunshine. We all had a great time and the weather can only get better on the future camp outs. Thanks to everyone that helped out planning this and making sure the kids had a great time. Especially Lisa and Joe.
Lou led us in a Drum circle with instruments that all the kids made from used bottles and boxes.
Will was having a hard time getting all the gooey Smore's off his cheek.
Joe lead us with the kids acting as a character from a movie and having the other dens guess who they were.
No free rides on a camp out. These kids decided it was time for firewood and filled up this wagon 5 times.
The boys enjoyed shooting dog food with slingshots at targets. Will was the winner in our Den with 375 point but lost to Nathan in the finals.
Even in the rain there is no stopping a scavenger hunt looking for bugs, leaves, animal tracks, and animals.
We set them up a little map reading game as well. They were given a place to find and use the map to get there. They then would get the next clue going from Start - Bird - Bear - Tiger - Cow - Dog where Joe was waiting for them down the trail.
