Our Camping Trip was In Tents!

Pack 468 had a fantastic camp-out! The rain, mud and cold couldn't keep our scouts from enjoying the outdoors.

The windy weather made for a perfect opportunity to fly some kites. The boys had a great time with their super hero kites that they built.

Paracord bracelets and slingshots are a must-have for any Pack 468 camp outing.

The Wolves found a new way to cut a watermelon--- it only took 9 scouts, 1 little brother, a bunch of dads, 1 hour and 1/2 a pound of rubberbands.

And we wrapped up the night with a campfire, jokes, stories, and skits before bundling up into our sleeping bags for the night.  The cold couldn't stop our adventurous scouts!!

Wolves invade AHML

Our Wolves visited the Arlington Heights Memorial Library to work on their Council Fire belt loop. They wanted to learn more about changes in their community.

The Genealogy Room at AHML library provided a perfect venue to learn about Arlington Heights history.

Did you know that Arlington Heights was originally named Dunton (changed since it sounded too boring) or the AH racetrack fire was caused by faulty wiring?

And believe or not, but the library volunteers said our wolves were the best behaved scouts she had ever hosted!!

HOOOOWWWLLL!

Many thanks to everyone that participated and all the hard work everyone put into it! It was great seeing all cars and I am always impressed by all the ideas the boys have! I hope it was as much fun for you as it was for me!
